¡Dale! Fútbol Watch Party: Spain v. Uruguay

In partnership with multiple community-based arts organizations, The Music Center will produce a free community watch party featuring the Spain vs. Uruguay match on the Jerry Moss Plaza LED Screens. This event will be held in conjunction with The Music Center’s Dance DTLA and will be co-created with long-time Music Center partners Arts for LA, Dance Resource Center, LAUSD Arts Education Branch, LA Commons, Dexter Story (artist and ethnomusicologist), KCRW, South Gate Museum & Art Gallery and Las Fotos Project.

The whole family will be welcome to an evening of play where with music, art, and soccer-inspired fun flow together from 5:00–7:00 p.m., including hands-on activities like reimagining jersey design and style, creative flag-making, and a communal photo collage. After the match, we will keep the energy going from 7:00 – 11 p.m. with a special Dance DTLA kickoff where fans will hit the dance floor, learn a global mix of dances and strut their jersey style.
