Mission

With decades of experience in the performing arts as both performers and teachers, SoCal Arts founders, Jekyns and Laura are excited to bring their passion for dance, fitness, and personal growth to the Los Angeles metropolitan area. Our studio emphasis is on excellent high caliber training that nurtures the whole student. We believe dance can inspire a healthy positive body-image and sense of self worth. Our goal is to provide a safe community-oriented environment that supports all the best this art form has to offer. At SoCal Arts, students experience classical ballet technique, acting, contemporary dance, Pilates Mat, and private coaching. Classes are offered to beginners as well as to the advanced dancer.

Current Project Summary

In order to continue to provide the greater Los Angeles Area with access to the arts, we seek to have access to grant opportunities this year to continue our performance programming and annual dance educational programs, as well as have the ability to offer tax deduction benefits to our benefactors via performances and fundraisers.

Donate

We are an educational institution that provides access to the performing arts. The last two years have been extremely challenging in sustaining our projects. Donating to this program not only ensures financial viability to the school, allowing us to stay in business, but it will also support the return of one of the most affected fields from the pandemic nationally.
